KIOS Foundation, Finland

Kios Foundation, the Finnish NGO Foundation for Human Rights supports the human rights work of civil society in developing countries. Childspace Foundation Nepal in an official partnership with KIOS Foundation have undertaken a project entitled “Promoting Culturally Sensitive Learning Environment for Children” in 12 state run schools of Kavre, Sindhupalchok and Nuwakot district. This project seeks to increase the access of Tamang children in main stream educational development of Nepal incorporating culture, language and identity in education system of Nepal.

Build with Nepal, UK

Childspace Foundation Nepal in an official partnership with the UK based charity “Build with Nepal” seeks to aid children that are victims of the recent earthquakes by the rebuilding of the schools that were recently destroyed. Specifically our projects involve the initial provision of transitional schools allowing for children to resume their education immediately, and the eventual provision of ‘permanent’ schools that are deemed to be earthquake resistant and child friendly. Childspace Foundation Nepal and Build with Nepal is planning 2 room based school building that will be earthquake resistant providing a safer learning environment.

Boliden Group Sweden, Sweden

Boliden Group Sweden recently established a charity named “Bcause Foundation, Sweden” founded on voluntary contributions from Boliden’s employees. Childspace Foundation Nepal received fund from Bcause Foundation for the project entitled “Protection of Tamang Minority Girls and Children through Education and Skill Enhancement”. This project focused in severely affected areas by the strong earthquake where the children are in great need of help.
